Meet the Moving On Theatre Crew
Lauren Hope Glory
Laurene Hope ia a trained actress and classically trained Soprano. This is the first time she has attempted to sing from the so called twang. Laurene started to sing and play the accordion from the age of 7 when she was discovered in Dublin.
Laurene has written two musicals and is the proud founder of "Ifibelievepeace". It is the largest film and song for interfaith unity and peace. Laurene again by herself has directed 'Love Conquers All' and hopes the sensitivity, courage and emotional dept she has drawn out of herself comes across to the audience.
She now directs and plays Piaf and Callas and proves that her voice is "An elevator that goes up and down and up and down" From Maria by Alma Bond
Martin is Laurene's husband and is her assistant when it comes to the shows. He is a great asset to the company and can be relied on for any kind of task, from leafleting to driving to stage managing - that's his job.
He gets involved where needed and is very supportive of Laurene and her efforts. Martin being an accomplished actor has excelled in parts like Jack Favel in Rebecca and received great reviews for his part of Stanley in "Run for your wife" due to his great comic timing.
Martin has now come on board as an actor in Maria as Aristotle Onassis and woos Maria and breaks her heart.
The romance is fun he says as Laurene is actually his wife of 24 years so it renews the magic.
Laurene and Francis met years ago when Laurene ran " Encounters" theatre and Francis directed her as Elvira in Blithe spirit. Francis is an incredibly talented keyboards player singer guitarist and we are honoured to have him now working with us.Francis is hilarious as Tita and the "Low brow agent" and very dramatic and convincing as Maria's father Papa who wants her to come and work in his pharmacy. He also plays guitar live. An amazing versatile actor and musician.
