Moving On Theatre was established back in 2012. Back then it was called 'The Moving On Theatre company'. Laurene set out to prove that age does not matter when it comes to expressing talent, and she has shown this is true time and time again with her shows. Despite only being only two years old Moving On Theatre has put on performances all over the country, including the Edinburgh and Henley festivals, and soon London will be added to the list!
We are giving back: MOT is supporting the therapeutic communities in the UK.
What are therapeutic communities?
Therapeutic communities are helping people all over the UK to heal from depression and many forms of mental illness without the use of drugs or any medication! To help raise awareness for TCs we are releasing 'Je Ne Regrette Rien'! Watch the video below to learn more.
Laurene Hope, founder of Moving On Theatre is a prime example. Laurene attended a TC in Bucks for two years for depression and anxiety. We can safely say that she has successfully recovered and is now running Moving On Theatre whilst doing her shows.
Roger is the writer of the play "Love Conquers All" which we are currently doing the production of.
Roger is a Canadian writer and has many years experience of writing and some directing. Roger shows lots of enthusiasm and he loves how we have produced the show. Hopefully he will be able to come and see it one day.
